A ceramic coating has multiple steps prior to installing the coating. First starting with a strip wash to remove any waxes or sealant that have been applied to the clear coat. As we finish up the strip wash we perform a clay bar in order to remove any contamination the paint has. Once we’re done clay-baring the vehicle we are ready to polish the paint and remove any imperfections that can be on the paints surface, this can take up to 3 different steps(compound, polish and fine polish). Before installing the coating we have to prep the paint with IPA solution to remove any polishing oils left behind. The cars paint is finally ready for coating using a microfiber pad and apply it to the painted surface. This creates a semi permanent bond to protect your vehicles exterior finish.
